More transparency - more customer proximity

…this was the title of a large-scale study in which the "German Institute for Service Quality" (DISQ) on behalf of the news channel ntv in January 2018 took a closer look at the 7 leading rental car companies in Germany. From the perspective of the Regensburg car rental company Buchbinder this investigation was a complete success: With a strong second place overall, the traditional company was able to underline its claim to oppose the customer in a transparent and service-oriented manner once again.

 

Among other things, the user-friendliness of the website, the telephone service, customer service via e-mail and - last but not least - the financial conditions that customers expect from the various providers were examined. Especially in this subcategory Buchbinder scored strong and was the only one of the seven "test persons" to achieve a "very good". Among other things, the study certified the Regensburgers the "lowest total cost of a rental" and the "cheapest vehicles" for the small cars and the compact class, as well as the "cheapest extras", such as navigation systems and child seats. Particularly convincing was the "intuitively navigable website", which offers users various contact information and a separate complaints channel.
