Every hirer has an opportunity to hire a vehicle modified to cope with winter driving conditions (early reservation required) to ensure that you feel safe on the roads in winter. The fitting of winter tyres to vehicles is not mandatory for car hire companies, in line with the German Road Traffic Act (StVO), however we nevertheless aim to convey you safely to your destination. The modification of vehicles has a cost implication for us, as a car hire company, and as a service provider, we will be passing a proportion of this cost onto you, the customer.
