Make sure that you use protective packaging for all furniture and belongings and load them carefully so that everything survives the journey in one piece. With our moving aids, we are delighted to offer you everything you need to ensure a safe move. You don’t quite know yet what you actually need, what vehicle size is right for your move? A few tips for your safety.
Allow sufficient time so that our employees can explain in detail how to operate the trucks or vans.
Always be aware of the height and width of the vehicle. Warning! The space available under bridges, projecting roofs, gates or similar can be tight.
Don’t drive too close to the traffic in front; remember that trucks have a significantly longer braking distance.
Also note the larger turn radius.
Take corners carefully and at lower speeds.
Pay particular attention when manoeuvring the truck or van and when reversing. It is best to get someone else to direct you.
Note the relevant lane and route restrictions as well as speed limits applicable to truck drivers.

Old rental contract
Terminate in writing and on time. Premature termination of the rental agreement is possible if a substitute tenant clause is written into the contract or the landlord has accepted the next tenant.
Viewings for the former residence
Should be arranged upon prior agreement with the lessor with potential tenants from 10 to 12 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m.
Old deposit
The deposit on the former residence must be paid back no later than six months after the end of the rental agreement by the lessor with interest and compound interest.
Broker’s fees
By law, broker’s fees may not exceed two months' rents plus VAT.
Deposit/Deposit forms
The deposit for the new residence can be paid either in cash or lodged as a bank guarantee. Amount: maximum three months’ base rent. The bond must be lodged at the interest rate usual for three-month term deposits at least.
Moving holiday
In the event of a move, employees are normally entitled to a day off work. Ask your employer about it in good time.
